- 「香港舞動馬拉松」是一項有益身心、造福社會、同時極具趣味性的慈善活動，主辦單位希望藉此推動青少年透過參與公益活動保持身心健康、發放正面能量、積極及樂觀面對人生各種挑戰；
- 是次活動將為「生命熱線」籌募善款，並藉此加深市民對「生命熱線」的認識，傳遞「珍惜生命」此重要訊息；
- 長達9小時之第三屆「香港舞動馬拉松」參加證將於2011年11月19日（星期六）假將軍澳東港城舉盛大舉行；
- 活動當日，來自不同舞蹈學校之專業導師，將於每小時帶領參加者跳出不同類型的舞步；
- 「香港舞動馬拉松」榮譽大使陳偉霆將聯同第三屆「香港舞動馬拉松」活動大使鍾舒漫及BOYZ為活動造勢，並連同娛樂群星為大家打氣。
- "Hong Kong Dance Marathon" is a territory-wide, charity fund raising project aiming to promote a way of life and encourage community spirit to reinforce the joy of living and positive lifestyle attitude.
- The campaign aims to raise funds and to highlight Suicide Prevention Services' (SPS) message that "life is worth living and should be celebrated..."
- A 9-hour long "Hong Kong Dance Marathon 2011" will be staged on November 19, 2011 at Tseung Kwan O - East Point City.
- Professional dance instructors will lead participants to dance different dances in each hour.
- The annual event ambassador, popular singer/ dancer Mr. William Chan, together with his 2011 partner Ms. Sherman Chung and BOYZ, as well as up and coming stars, will support the event as cheerleaders.
